This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
This may be the first time i've posted two journals on DA in the same day, but i'm doing this with good reason. As the title of this journal implies this is the second season that the greater Seattle-Tacoma area has been without professional basketball(the NBA); as you may or may not know two summers ago(July/August 2008) the Seattle Supersonics moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to become the Oklahoma City Thunder(I still cringe every time I have to say that). The Seattle Supersonics existed for 41 years and were founded during the 1967-68 NBA season as an expansion team; they played at the old Seattle Center COliseum later Key Arena and also the now defunct Kingdome and the Tacoma Dome. The sonics had numerous great players: Dennis Johnson, Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Jack Sikma, Lenny Wilkins, Kevin Durant(for a year), Ray Allen and numerous numerous others. However because of Clay Bennett, David Stern, Howard Schultz, and the various politicians of Seatlte and Washington State the team was allowed to be moved to Oklahoma. Myself and so many others followed the Supes for years and cheered their highs and were there during the lows as well. The NBA allowed a team with an incredibly rich history to move to the middle of the country and an area with no history of professional sports, I know that there are a few sports fans on DA that symphetize with me and what it's like to lose a sports team. I fully understand that there are more important things in the world than sports, however Sports is and has been something to take our minds off of things for a couple hours every couple of days, where people of different backgrounds(both monetary and others) can be one voice supporting their team. I am boycotting the NBA on television until Seattle gets a team back in the NBA; basically it's been a year now and I still can't believe Seattle no longer has the Sonics. In closing my signature says it all: Seattle Supersonics for ever, and no greedy millionaires who don't give a darn about pro sports can ever take away our memories.
